Champagne Margaritas

Whether you’re celebrating a new year or just celebrating something, these Champagne Margaritas will be the star of the show. I love that you can prep a large batch in a pitcher and then when ready to serve just top off with the champagne and call it a day! These are a fun take on a classic cocktail that everyone will love!


Champagne Margaritas
This New Year's Eve celebrate by making these delicious Champagne Margaritas! They're a fizzy take on a classic cocktail, perfect for the holidays!

- Pitcher
Ingredients
- 1 lime quartered
- 1/3 cup coarse salt
- ice
- 8 ounces fresh squeezed lime juice
- 4 ounces homemade simple syrup* or store-bought agave syrup
- 3 ounces orange liqueur
- 750 ml Champagne chilled
Instructions
- Rub a lime wedge over the edge of four glasses and then dip each in salt to evenly coat the rim. Fill the glasses with ice and set aside.
- In a pitcher, combine the lime juice, simple syrup, and orange liqueur and mix until well-incorporated. Divide among the prepared glasses and top off each with champagne. Serve with lime wedges as garnish. Enjoy!
- *To make simple syrup, combine 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup granulated sugar in a small saucepan and set over moderate heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sugar has dissolved. Transfer to a heat-proof measuring cup and allow to cool completely.
