2cupspowdered sugar
1/4cupmilk or half and half
1/2teaspoonvanilla
Pinchof salt
Holiday sprinkles
24store-bought mini gingerbread cookies
Instructions
Melt the butter, stirring often, over low heat until browned. Remove 4 tablespoons and set aside. Add the spices to the butter and cook for another 30 seconds to bloom. Stir in the marshmallows and molasses and mix until melted through. Add the rice cereal and stir until combined. Quickly pour out into a grease 9x13 baking pan and press down firmly into an even layer.
To make frosting, beat together powdered sugar, reserved 4 tablespoons browned butter, milk, vanilla and salt until smooth and somewhat thick. If it’s too thick, you can thin out slightly by adding a splash more of eggnog. Pour over the rice cereal treats and spread out evenly. Top with sprinkles and gingerbread men and allow to set. Slice, serve and enjoy!
