Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 small watermelon peeled and diced
  • 8 ounces tequila
  • 4 ounces orange liqueur
  • 3 limes juiced
  • 3 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 4 cans pale beer I used Pabst Blue Ribbon
  • fresh lime slices
  • fresh watermelon wedges
  • ice

Instructions

  • Blend the watermelon chunks in a blender on high until fully puréed. Pour the juice into a tall pitcher through a fine mesh strainer to catch all of the pulp. Discard pulp. Pour the tequila, orange liqueur and juice of 2 limes into the watermelon juice. Stir until evenly combined. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • To prepare the glasses, juice the remaining lime into a shallow dish. In a separate dish, pour the salt. Dip the glasses, upside down, into the lime juice and then the salt to coat the rims. Fill the glasses with ice and pour in the watermelon booze mixture about halfway up. Top off with the beer and garnish with a lime slice and watermelon wedge. Enjoy!
